Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 9, 2026

Rodood is a business communications and customer-support platform. This policy explains the information Rodood processes, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to account owners, team members, and customers.

Information we process

How we use information

Rodood Client and service requests

Rodood Client is the app and web page where clients of businesses on Rodood follow and complete their service requests. When you use it we process:

Each business that opens a request for you controls the request and its documents, and keeps its own records of them. Deleting your Rodood Client account (Account → Delete account) removes your sign-in and notification tokens; ask the business if you want its records removed.

Service providers and connected platforms

Rodood shares information only when needed to operate the service. This can include cloud hosting, database and file-storage providers, Twilio for sign-in codes by SMS, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service for notifications, Google and Apple for optional sign-in, Google’s Gemini AI service for response generation, and Meta platforms when a business connects WhatsApp or Instagram. Those providers process information under their own terms and security obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Biometric protection

If a user enables biometric protection in the mobile app, authentication is performed by the device operating system. Rodood does not receive or store Face ID, fingerprint, or other biometric templates.

Data retention and deletion

Information is retained only while needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Authorized users can remove conversations where the product provides that control. An account owner can request or initiate account deletion; deletion removes account data and associated tenant records except where limited retention is legally required.

Security

Rodood uses authenticated access, tenant isolation, encrypted network connections, role-based controls, and other administrative and technical safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their passwords and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of their personal information. Notification preferences and optional biometric protection can be changed in the app.

Children

Rodood is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The updated date above will identify the current version.
